I am a poet, essayist, and researcher in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Gender Studies at Memorial University.
I am open to interdisciplinary academic and creative collaborations that involve anti-ableist, anti-oppressive explorations of the dynamic human bodymind. I am interested in talking about Disabled and Neurodivergent joy. I love interviews, panel discussions, and public scholarship.
I also provide a selection of freelance writing-related services, including:
- manuscript evaluation (poetry, memoir, creative nonfiction)
- short-term writing mentorship
- sensitivity reads (disability/neurodivergence)
- creative writing course instruction and workshop facilitation
