    A pink, nearly-full moon.

I have a nifty little Canon camera that takes pretty decent moon pictures. I’ve taken full moon (and, like this one, nearly-full moon) pictures before, but last Friday was first time I’ve seen the moon so pink. There are wildfires all over the island right now (and in Labrador, and, well, pretty much everywhere else in this part of the world), and the smoke in town has been intense at times, although the wind direction seems to have shifted to clear the air here.

I’ve been busy with a few different projects. Some writing, some applications, some household tasks. Mostly just recalibrating. I’m so much better suited to working in freelance mode than I am to traditional office life, and my nervous system is much happier now that I’m giving it what it wants.
