Thinking today about Cecile Badenhorst’s advice to “romance your thesis” (from this video). What does that look like? I’m picturing myself leaving my research little love notes. Dressing up fancy and making a reservation at a nice restaurant to read over my drafts. Why not? I’m studying poetry. What better way to immerse myself in my material than to flirt shamelessly with it?
