A splendid sunrise over the rooftops of downtown St. John’s. The sky is glowing with shades of periwinkle, lavender, coral, orange, and gold. The upper right of the photo is crosshatched with bare tree branches and power lines. The top-floor windows and chimney pots of four brightly-coloured rowhouses are visible across the bottom of the photograph.
Finally finding a way into this chapter I’m meant to be writing. Now I just have to actually write it.
